Our Visit to Long Beach, Pulau Redang (Redang Island) Once we finished our second snorkeling session, we immediately headed to Long Beach on Pulau Redang for a late brunch. Since we opted to choose our own brunch, it wasn’t included in the total price of our snorkeling tour.After days of inactivity, father decided to take us on a visit to the famous Pulau Redang, situated within the Pahang territory. Prior the trip, we packed up carefully to avoid any unwanted dilemmas. Along the trip to our destination, we saw many awesome views. Palm oil trees were seen along the express road nevertheless as the rubber trees.The Redang archipelago constitutes the islands of Pulau Redang, Pulau Lima, Pulau Paku Besar, Pulau Paku Kecil, Pulau Kerengga Kecil, Pulau Kerengga Besar, Pulau Ekor Tebu, Pulau Ling and Pulau Pinang. Pulau Redang at 7 km long and 6 km wide is the largest island. The highest peak is Bukit Besar at 359 metres above sea-level.
Pulau Redang, located 45km off the coast of Kuala Terengganu, is the largest of a group of nine protected islands dotting the South China Sea off the Terengganu coast. The island offers crystal clear waters and numerous dive sites for enthusiasts. Sheltered within the Pulau Redang Marine Park, the waters here are rich in marine life.A line connecting all points situated 2 nautical miles (3.7km) from the shores of Pulau Ekor Tebu, Pulau Lima, Pulau Pinang and Pulau Redang forms the boundary of the Pulau Redang Marine Park. The islands lying close to Redang, and which include Pulau Kapas, Pulau Lang Tengah, Pulau Perhentian Kecil, Pulau Perhentian Besar and Pulau Susu Dara, are also designated as Marine Parks.
